Property Taxes

Your tax bill will be mailed to you in December of every year. The amount may be paid in full at the Village Office or mailed to P.O. Box 459, Valders, WI 54245 by January 31 of each year, or may be paid on the installment basis.

Your check should be made payable to the Village of Valders. The first one half installment is also due by January 31, the second half installment is due by July 31 of each year and made payable to Manitowoc County Treasurer.

If your mortgage company is to pay your taxes through escrow service, please inform them of the above information. Further information and instructions will be included in your tax bill slot.

We don't accept online or credit card payments.

Property value assessments now exceed $82 million for the Village of Valders.

Manitowoc County is now using a new tax collection system that allows taxpayers to look up and print tax receipts online the day after it’s paid. The Village will no longer mail a receipt for any payments.If you would like a receipt mailed to you, please drop a self-addressed stamped envelope in our drop box. You may also pay in person or pick up a receipt at the Village Office Monday-Friday 8:00AM-3:00PM.

Tax Receipt Lookup Directions

1) Click the Manitowoc County look-up link listed below. Choose your municipality in the drop down menu and enter your name, address, or parcel number. Click Find Now.

2) Click the red parcel number you would like to view.

3) Click on a red Tax Year for specific detail. In the top right corner click Printer Friendly to print your receipt.
