Garbage Collection

Garbage collection is provided by the Village at no additional charge. Your pickup day is Tuesday. Garbage must be at the curbside by 7 AM. It may be placed in bags only between the hours of 3AM - 7AM on Tuesdays, unless it is placed in a sealed hard plastic or metal garbage container. These requirements are to prevent scavenging by animals.

Recycling

The Village Recycling Center is located at 409 W. Wilson St. The center accepts paper, cardboard, tin, glass, metal, aluminum and 1 & 2 plastics.  The center is open on Wednesdays from 4PM-6PM & Saturdays from 8AM-NOON.
Valders Recycling Program Information

There are separate brush piles for grass clippings and tree trimmings located adjacent to the recycling center.

All electronic items are banned from landfills & must be properly disposed of in the proper bin at the center effective 9/1/2010 by State law. Fees are collected at time of drop-off.

No scavenging of any materials from the recycling center is allowed per signs posted at the center.

THE VALDERS RECYCLE CENTER DOES NOT ACCEPT WASTE OIL. ALL RESIDENTS MAY DISPOSE OF WASTE OIL ANNUALLY AT THE MANITOWOC CLEAN SWEEP IN SPRING.
